Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • Seasoning Ingredients: 1 teaspoon granulated garlic, 1 tsp kosher salt and 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Method

  • Step 1: Grab 1/2 a cup of your all-purpose flour and place this into a resealable plastic bag. Add your seasoning granulated garlic and 1 teaspoon of kosher salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper. Place the chicken pieces into the bag and shake it so that it's coated. We recommend you do this in batches. Place your breadcrumbs on a plate and season it with some kosher salt and pepper and set this aside.
  • Step 2: Grab your egg and add 1 tbsp of water into a medium bowl and whisk it. Grab your chicken from the flour and dip this into the egg mixture, then into your breadcrumbs. Press this gently into the crumb on both sides and set it aside on another plate. Keep repeating the process until you've done all the chicken pieces.
  • Step 3: Heat your vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Once it gets hot, add your chicken nuggets to the pan. You can work in batches if you need to. As you cook then, make sure they're brown on each side for a total of about 8 minutes. Use a spatula to transfer your golden and delicious chicken nuggets onto a paper towel plate. Add salt to them whilst hot and serve them with your favourite dipping sauces.
