Ingredients
- 3-4 boneless free-range chicken breast
- 11/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tbsp of red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 6 skewers
Method
- Step 1: Grab your wooden skewers and place them into a shallow dish with warm water. Fully submerge them for at least 30 minutes before you start using them.
- Step 2: Cut your chicken into 1-inch pieces and place them into a zipper topped bag.
- Step 3: Into a bowl, add your olive oil, soy, brown sugar and garlic powder. Stir well.
- Step 4: Add the marinade into your zipper bag and mix in to combine everything well.
- Step 5: Place this chicken mixture into the fridge for at least 30 mins or up to 4 hours for more to give your chicken some extra flavour.
- Step 6: When you're ready to make chicken kabobs thread your chicken pieces evenly.
- Step 7: Preheat the grill at 190 degrees to medium-high heat.
- Step 8: Clean and oil the grates.
- Step 9: Remove these from the grill and allow the chicken to rest for about 3 minutes.
