Ingredients
- 500 grams of free-range skinless chicken breasts, cut into small cubes
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp of honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp (low-sodium) soy sauce
- Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
Method
- Step 1: Grab a large skillet and heat up the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Lightly season the cubed chicken with kosher salt and pepper.
- Step 3: Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and brown on one side, about 3-4 minutes.
- Step 4: Heat the olive oil in a frypan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook them for 4 minutes on each side or until golden. Drain them on a paper towel.
- Step 5: Whilst that is happening, start making the glaze. Add your honey, soy sauce and garlic to a small bowl and whisk this up until all combined.
- Step 6: Add the sauce to the pan and mix it in to coat the chicken pieces. Cook your chicken until the chicken is cooked through for another 4-5 minutes.
- Step 7: Serve with some brown steamed rice, add some spring onion on top for garnish, green beans and a squeeze of lime juice, if desired to add some freshness.
