Ingredients
- 1kg of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 tsp organic honey
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 70g of Italian dressing mix
- 1 block of reduced-fat cream cheese
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup (fat-free)
- 3 cups of cooked long-grain rice (white or brown)
Method
- Step 1: Take out your slow cooker and place your chicken.
- Step 2: Into a bowl, mix your Italian dressing mix, garlic and water. Pour this over the chicken.
- Step 3: Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
- Step 4: Into a bowl add your cream cheese and soup and mix this together.
- Step 5: Carefully remove your chicken from the slow cooker onto a plate.
- Step 6: Pour the cream/soup mixture into the slow cooker and mix this together with the dressing.
- Step 7: Put back your chicken and mix generally to shred your chicken.
- Step 7: Cook low until heated through.
