Ingredients
- 1 to 1.5 kgs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small cubes
- Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper
- 3 tsp of organic honey
- 3 tsp of low-sodium soy sauce
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Lime wedges (to squeeze over the chicken)
- For Serving: Brown rice (cooked in a rice cooker.
Method
- Step 1: Grab a large skillet and heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: With your cubed chicken, lightly season with kosher salt and pepper.
- Step 3: Add your cubed chicken into your large skillet and brown on one side, about 3-4 minutes.
- Step 4: To make the glaze, whisk in a bowl soy sauce, honey, garlic and red pepper flakes (optional).
- Step 5: Next, add your sauce to the pan, coating your chicken pieces. Cook your chicken through, 4-5 more minutes.
- Step 6: Serve with some steamed brown rice, add some streamed beans, sesame seeds and squeeze some lime juice.
