Ingredients
- 1 T-Bone Steak (about 1 inch thick), trimmed and at room temperature
- 1 to 2 sticks of unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- 6 sprigs thyme
- 4-6 garlic cloves, unpeeled
- Sea salt and cracked black pepper
Method
- Step 1: Grab a large frying pan and add the butter and oil. Heat on high for 1-2 minutes or until the butter starts to foam.
- Step 2: Sprinkle sea salt and pepper over the steak.
- Step 3: Add thyme, garlic and the t-bone streak to the pan and cook for about 4-5 mins on each side, spooning the melted butter over the steak. Cook medium for 4-5 mins or 5-6 mins for well done or until cooked to your liking.
- Step 4: Drizzle the steak with the butter to serve.
