Ingredients
- 2 racks of pork ribs
- 2 tbsps paprika
- 2 tbsps brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- Aluminium foil
Method
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 200°C. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chilli powder salt and black pepper to make a dry hub
- Step 2: Rub the dry rub onto the ribs, making sure to cover all sides and wrap the ribs tightly in aluminium foil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Step 3. Bake the ribs for 3-4 hours or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.
- Step 4: Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes, and preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Step 5: Brush BBQ sauce onto the ribs, making sure to cover both sides.
- Step 6: Place the ribs on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the BBQ sauce has caramelised and the ribs are charred to your liking.
- Step 7: Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
