  • 1kg of free-range chicken thighs, sliced into chunks
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of soy sauce


  • Step 1: Sear the chicken thighs evenly in a skillet pan, then flip them over once it's brown
  • Step 2: Add your soy sauce and brown sugar. Keep stirring this in till the sugar is broken down and bringing to a boil.
  • Step 3: Stir until the sauce has reduced and evenly glazes the chicken.
  • Step 4: Serve with your choice of white or brown rice.
