Ingredients
- 2 cups pan drippings (if there isn’t enough, top it up with some chicken stock)
- 1/4 unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper (only if needed to seasoned)
Method
- Step 1: Grab a pot and melt the butter over low-medium heat. Whisk your flour and allow this to cook for about 1-2 mins. Continue whisking.
- Step 2: Add 1/2 cup of the pan juices from your Roast Turkey and whisk until it starts to form a paste. Add the rest of the liquid in 1/2 cup increments, whisking in between, until you see the gravy is nice and smooth.
- Step 3: Simmer this over medium heat until it's thickened. Take it off the heat and add your Worcestershire sauce along with salt and pepper (if needed).
- Step 4: Gravy will continue to thicken as it cools.
